We fell in love with Baja after paddling Cabo Pulmo back in 1995. That short exposure to warm water, cart-wheeling manta rays and busting rooster fish was all we needed to change our lives. Since then, our family has grown almost as fast as our love for Baja. Each year, our entire family makes extended trips south of the border to relax, enjoy the scenery, visit with friends, and FISH OUR BRAINS OUT!

The assortment of fuerte fish in Baja requires specialized equipment. Like our NorCal trips, our trips to Baja include use of premium grade Okuma kayak-specific rods and reels. If you already have your own blue water arsenal, you are welcome to use your own equipment. If you would like to purchase your own quiver, feel free to ask for assistance in selecting the appropriate gear.
